Tempestuous tales, Wicked fun.
I am an aspiring author of Historical Romance and Paranormal Romance. I find it easy to long for a time and place filled with adventure, danger, grit, strong women and sizzling hot Alpha males. Doesn't everyone do this?
Having a creative streak, I've never been satisfied with the mundane. Fortunately, I have a laundry list of mishaps to prove it. It had only been recently that I put my imaginative (yeah - let's go with that) escapes to pen and paper.
In my secret laboratory I fancy calling my "office," I brew up stories of perilous quests and tainted love. Add a touch of dark intentions and a pinch of humor, stir in a happily-ever-after, and Wah-La!
I dream in technicolored fantasies, no matter if I am asleep or awake. Escaping to sail on the high seas, be chased by a treasure-hording dragon or play roulette with Confederate spies, mine is a world of tempestuous tales and wicked fun. Won't you join me?

10-25-08 Attended the Lone Star Conference in Houston, Texas; pitched UPON A MOONLIT SEA to three agents and received partial requests from all three.
11-9-08 After a trial and error run, I have produced and posted my Upon A Moonlit Sea book trailer on YouTube.
11-30-08 Completed my first NanoWrimo with some degree of success, writing three chapters in three weeks.

3-12-09 UPON A MOONLIT SEA placed 1st in the OVRWA Enchanted Words Contest with a request for the full manuscript
3-25-09 Newsflash! UPON A MOONLIT SEA earned a finalist spot in the historical category in the 2009 Golden Heart® Contest. I am stunned but thrilled. Washington - here I come!
4-24-09 Critique partner Marie Claude's Ancient Whispers wins the American Title V contest. Her novel will be published!! Look for it in February 2010
6-6-09 Accepted 1st VP position in my local RWA® chapter
7-14 through 7-18-09 Attended my first RWA® National Conference. Arrived as a Golden Heart® finalist. Received 2 partials and 1 full request from agents/editors.
7-17-09 A KISS IN THE WIND placed 3rd in the Romance Through the Ages contest
9-7-08 A KISS IN THE WIND placed 1st in the OVRWA Summer Sizzle contest Received a request!
1-02-10 Accepted Presidency position in the Northwest Houston RWA® chapter
1-30-10 A KISS IN THE WIND took 1st place in the OKRWA Finally A Bride contest. Received a request!
