Bio -
Jennifer Bray-Weber is a proud native Texan. She is a married domestic goddess and stay-at-home mom to two beautiful daughters. Holding two degrees, one in Music and Video Business, the other in Liberal Arts, she has been able to express her creative thinking through a multitude of experiences.
She finds it easy to long for a time and place filled with adventure, danger, grit, strong women and sizzling hot heroes. She asks - doesn't everyone do this?
Having a creative streak, Jennifer has never been satisfied with the mundane. Fortunately, she has a laundry list of mishaps to prove it. It has only been recently that she has put her imaginative (yeah - let's go with that) escapes to pen and paper.
In her secret laboratory she fancies calling her "office," Jennifer brews up stories of perilous quests and tainted love. Add a touch of dark intentions and a pinch of humor, stir in a happily-ever-after, and Wha-La!
Her interests include writing, reading, traveling (what she likes to call "research"), horseback riding, scrap-booking, shopping, relaxing at the beach, playing games of darts, and engaging in more "research".
She is an active member of Romance Writers of America®, Northwest Houston RWA®, Hearts Through History, and The Golden Network.
Jennifer dreams in Technicolor fantasies, no matter if she is asleep or awake. Escaping to sail on the high seas, be chased by a treasure-hording dragon or play roulette with Confederate spies, Jennifer's is a world of tempestuous tales and wicked fun. Won't you join her?
Inspiration
My inspiration comes in many forms. I can draw from something as simple as a gesture or a quote, an interesting picture, a movie scene and even a historical fact. But mostly my inspiration is found in music. Just a string of melodic lyrics, the steady beat of a bass drum, or a desperate guitar riff can set the stage for a scene or character. For me, a song is like a prelude to an intriguing story.
